EASY PRETTY FALL COFFEE BAR
A fall coffee bar is so easy to set up and a delight to use! When we have weekend guests we often set up an easy yummy self-serve coffee bar for our overnight guests! We just hosted my sister Lisa and brother-in-law Jim and I set up this cute fall coffee bar!
This coffee bar has all the basics and a nod to fall. What it does not have is lots of fall “extra fluff”. No fall-inspired banners or signage or straws or such.
But what it does have are the basics done in a pretty and welcoming way!
So if you, like me, want to set up a little coffee bar that looks pretty but is easy to do then this coffee bar is for you!
Here are lots of ideas and tips!
A COFFEE BAR NEEDS TO SERVE A GOOD CUP OF JOE
First and foremost make sure you serve a really goooooood cup of coffee!
Because I can’t drink caffeinated coffee after noon we opted for a Keurig! It does a good-ish job in offering a solid cup of coffee. I really think it is about finding great coffee pods.
There are different coffee makers that offer single cup options. Ours gives us the flexibility to make many different kinds of hot drinks!
I keep the coffee pods in the white crock with a wooden lid. Let’s face it, pods are not that attractive. So putting them in something pretty hides their bless-their-lil’-hearts lack of good looks!
And for the fall a little pumpkin sits on top of the pod hideout.
MUGS AND MORE
Four of us were enjoying a lazy morning so I set out four white mugs with my favorite and easy to wash, dry, and use again cloth napkins tucked down in them.
I also added copper-handled spoons in the mugs. I mostly use this flatware in the fall. You can see it HERE.
I love white coffee mugs! They go with every occasion! And I can add napkins or plates or other things that celebrate the time of year or holiday.
COFFEE ADD-IN’S
I used a wooden breadboard to hold the cream and sugar. I think the wood works nicely with a fall coffee bar!
The sugar is in a clear salt pig! The size is perfect so instead of salt it is a sugar pig.
And the cream and sugar share the breadboard with a little vase of fall colored flowers. I love this color palette. I’m a big fan of orange as long as it is accompanied by lots and lots of white.
These flowers were part of a bigger grocery store bouquet I cut apart to make several smaller arrangements.
A LITTLE SOMETHING SWEET
It would not be a fall coffee bar if I did not serve some kind of seasonal sweet bread. Pumpkin bread is served today but I have a fabulous and easy Apple Cake that is a favorite too! Both are company worthy!
Look for my favorite pumpkin bread recipe with a streusel top soon.
OTHER THINGS TO ADD TO A COFFEE BAR
Here are some other things you might add to a fall inspired coffee bar…
- shakers of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice to flavor coffee
- a little bowl of candy corn
- honey stirrers
- pumpkin spice creamer
- whipped cream
- flavored syrups
- a bowl of apples or pears
- Kahlua or Frangelico (my sister suggested these)
Start now and set up fall coffee bars for your family and friends! This is a wonderful way to celebrate this most favorite season!

I LOVE Paul Newman’s medium bold roast. It is smooth and quite rich. And that is a perfect cup of coffee for me.
Love this Yvonne ?. Where did you get your pitcher with the orange flowers in it and where did you find the napkins? Thanks, Linda
I just told Deb I found it at HomeGoods a few years ago. Sorry I don’t have a source

It’s been oppressive lately here too! I’m dreaming of that first cool morning breeze!
Oh… I always love your coffee bar set-ups! And those copper spoons add just the right touch!
Thanks, friend!xo xo xo
Loved the coffee bar. I put my capsules in a ceramic bowl but they still look awful. After reading this post I realised I had a pottery lidded container in winter colours so I am using that. Here, we are in the last dregs of winter but I’m using it for the moment and will find another lidded container for the warmer months. Thank you for the new idea!
Don’t you love easy solutions?
Hi Yvonne,
I like your coffee bar so much. It makes me want to set up one. Thank you!
You should. It is so easy and is so lovely when I make coffee in the am.
I do love the individual pieces but do you have a picture of it in its entirety? It’s hard to gauge with just close up shots. They’re pretty but I want to see how it really looks and you can’t do that with close ups only. I would love to see how it relates to the room.
Sorry, I just took images of the coffee bar! It sits in my kitchen on a counter.
So cute! I ready for a cup! I love your napkins.
