Modern and simple easter table
When I think of Easter I usually think of pastels and pretty soft colors and white bunnies! But this year, I’ve created a simple and modern Easter Table! Bright and not traditional at all! Sometimes we just need to shake things up a bit! Let me show you how I created this vibrant table!
My blogging friends and I are thinking about Easter! And we have set Easter tables to give you lots of ideas and inspiration for yours! Make sure you stop at the bottom of this post to see what they are sharing!
The inspiration for this year’s Easter table are these bright orange-red tulips! Not your usual Easter flowers!
But aren’t they so pretty?
I’m such a classic girl but when I saw these tulips I just got the urge to do something new.
What inspires you? Do you do the same old, same old? That’s certainly okay but maybe just once it will be a kick to do something different!
When I got home with my tulips it struck me that I had no idea how I was going to tie this saturated color into a table!
So I turned to Amazon to find some crayon orange cotton napkins! You can see the napkins HERE.
Yes, these napkins were a match for the tulips!
This table is an Easter brunch table. We serve a big Easter morning buffet before Church.
Simple and easy are the buzzwords for this table. But also fun and pretty!
I used our everyday water hyacinth placemats as they remind me of baskets!
We have both round and rectangle water hyacinth placemats. They are years old and have held up so well!
I kept the loose burlap runner on the table to keep it casual!
The rest of the dishes, glasses, and flatware are our everyday fare! I said this was simple! You can see my HOBNAIL GOBLETS HERE.
Our everyday bowls hold moss with a hard cooked brown egg nestled into the organic soft greens!
Every year I try to create a new way to color eggs and to present them on our Easter table!
Because this is a simple table so are the Easter eggs! Our local Farm Market has the best cage free eggs! They come in all kinds of pretty colors.
The centerpiece is made up of white cylinder vases in varying height filled with these vivid blooms.
There are also two candles in small white cylinders that match the vases.
The filament and anthers of the tulips are black so my black faux soapstone rabbits joined the center of the Easter table to round out the decor!
I hope my Easter Brunch table has giving you some different and interesting ways to think about your Easter table this year!
Happy Easter, Friends, from our table to yours!

Hi Yvonne. Absolutely love this. I’ve always loved orange. Nice to see some different ways to do holidays. I have white Pillyvuyt bowls that I use everyday, but they are more shallow. May I ask where you purchased yours? Sometimes I need a bowl that holds more. Thank you. God Bless You.
Hi Gayle, I just added a “boutique” of items from the table at the end of the post. Hope this helps.
Yvonne, Definitely love to see your new take on doing an Easter table. Perfect for adding some cute bunches of carrots somewhere in the tablescape. Perfect with your neutral decor.Hopefully some of your grandchildren will be able to join you this holiday. It has been a long time since we have seen all of ours. Have a beautiful spring filled with hope, love and the blessings that only God can bring us.
We are so excited for Easter this year! We will have our son and his family with us! My three-year-old Emma Kate and her 7-month-old brother Bailey! Yes, it’s been too long!
LOVE IT!!!!
Love love this! Tulips have the best colors.
Thanks, Linda! I was so drawn to these pretty bright tulips!
Wow , a beautiful burst of colour , just like Spring does ! It is Autumn here in Australia , so my Easter is in faded colours , which makes more sense and looks more appropriate .
Beautiful Yvonne! I thought I’d die when I saw yesterday’s soft pastel tablescape, but this is equally as stunning in a different way!
You are so kind, Carol! Sometimes we just need a change!
That’s a lovely and cheerful table. Lots of color for you………glorious orange tulips.
Thanks, Patricia!
What a beautiful table Yvonne! I like thinking out of the box ideas and using orange for Easter is also one habit of mine. I even bought a set of orange flatware. They were offered for a very good at Waifair and I could not resist. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Edmee! I love a bit of orange too!
LOVE those bunnies! I’ve been trying to find them, to no avail.
I found those bunnies at a local shop. They come from a company called 3R Design. I’ve looked too. Sorry I don’t have a source.
I wanted them also and found them – but, unfortunately they are sold out at https://www.antiquefarmhouse.com/sitting-rabbit-statues-set-of-2.html
Vickie, thank you!
