The Beauty Of Spring

Spring is a miraculous season here at StoneGable! The countryside and my yard begin to wake up! I can actually smell spring in the air. The cherry and apple trees are ripe with buds ready to burst. And the bird’s sweet song begins to fill the air once again.

Daffodils and crocuses and hyacinths poke their sleepy heads out of the warming earth! It seems that all of nature comes alive to join in the spring celebration!

Not only do we celebrate spring, but even more so we celebrate Easter! A true time of rebirth! Let’s make an easy, beautiful arrangement that celebrates the season!

This pretty arrangement takes less than 10 minutes to put together! Wouldn’t this look beautiful on your Easter table?

What You Will Need

Here’s what you will need to make my Easter Eggs and Spring Bloom arrangement…

Here are things to make this pretty and easy Easter arrangement…

Fill the glass container with the eggs…

Cut apart the floral stem and add them to the container. The eggs do a great job holding each individual stem where you want them! The eggs also hide the end of the stems.

Hi Yvonne and friends of StoneGable,

Reading this today with its Spring focus was so refreshing because here in Australia, we are hanging on like death to the heat of Summer – 37 – 41 Celcius throughout our region for the last few days! Yesterday, my dear husband had a reverse cycle air conditioner installed in our bedroom – love him to bits!

Always enjoy your posts and those of your like-minded creative friends Yvonne. Keep up the great work – we love it! 🙂

    Cheers from Down Under *^_^*

  25. I just love your decororating ideas. You are so creative and you have such a wonderful sense of style! You have inspired me to create my own cherry blossom and speckled egg version of my own and it turned out just beautiful. It’s sitting proudly in our hutch in the dining room and brings the outdoors in and a touch of Easter. Thanks for the idea!

  26. Kirsten Massa says:

Can you tell me where you purchased your eggs? Amazon and Wayfair, Joann’s turned up nothing like what you show here. Amazon sells pretty styrofoam ones but several reviewers were disappointed.

    1. HI Kristen, I got the eggs from a local decor shop. I bet you have one in your area. Look for things like pretty eggs and great faux flowers in local stores that carry home furnishings.

  27. Hi,

I so love the Easter Egg and Spring Bloom arrangement. It looks so simple and elegant. Is it possible to use this idea and image as inspiration on my home decor blog? I would of course give credit and link to your blog. Thanks!

    1. Yes, that would be fine if you credit StoneGable and put a link to the original post. Thanks for sharing!

      1. Thank you so much! Just to be clear, is the article above, within this blog the original post? Thanks in advance.

  28. Hi Yvonne,

I am happy to meet you. I am very similar to you in that I am retired and love all things home and garden. Our home is also filled with family and friends often and we have been known to throw some epic parties. Our home is known as The Lost Weekend Resort. I look forward to seeing more of your ideas because I am also a lifelong learner and love to hear what other people are doing. I am going to use your idea with Easter eggs and blooms to highlight my Easter dinner table.

    Maryann

    1. WOW Maryann! We do sound alike! You will find many kindred spirits here. Welcome to the StoneGable family!

  29. Is there a cliche in the link? I click on the link to Easy Peasy Book Page Blooms and keep getting the post showing the Easter eggs and apple blossom arrangement. Is there such a post as Book Page Blooms? (Love the Easter Egg/Blossom arrangement by the way!)
