I ordered your great room rug first in too small a size (my issue) and then larger … you rug looks cool in color but the rug I received was so warm and yellow it was ugly … is yours really cool in color … I paid shipping for both … so disappointed!
Hi Linda, Too bad you are having issues with the rug. Did you see the issues in the small rug you ordered? My rug is very neutral and because it is brown-ish the rug will read warm. I do have little hints of a warmer beige in the rug. Since you think the color is wrong and it was not represented in the images on the rug’s website I would contact the company and hopefully you can return it without having to pay the shipping.
Thank Yvonne for your nice reply … my sister walked into my home and stated … it’s yellow! It was so “not pretty” … I had to pay for shipping when they sent the rugs to me but not the returns … live and learn. Anyway – I love your home and your style …
Linda
Thanks, Linda!
I love you informative articles.
Recently I read the article about your beautiful living room clock.
You transformed it from a lovely wooden clock to the spectacular painted clock.
I love it.
I have a similar clock and would love to try a transformation.
Could you send me the link to the post.
Thank so much.
Jan
I had the most fun painting this clock. See the process here:https://www.stonegableblog.com/upscaling-and-rescuing-things-you-love/
I love your rug can you give me the link or where I can purchase it
Thank you

This is really a beautiful rug!
Where are the drapes from in your family room?
Hi Sheryl, I found them at Ballard Designs.
Where are your spindle accent chairs from?
I found them at Ethan Allen over a decade ago. Here is a beautiful spindle chair for less:https://rstyle.me/+b3zALxSOYdIh98FN6b-Umw
You get what you pay for and a good spindle chair tends to be a bit pricy, but I’ve had my chair for over a decade. It is a classic and still looks as good as the day I got it.
