Another little tip: Sometimes nubs are hard to remove from real pumpkins. There can be kind of a “seam” where the glued-on real stem meets the nub. I’ll tie some raffia to hide the seam. Works great, looks great!

I had a BIG smile when I saw your tip about saving pumpkin stems. I’ve done it for years and have quite a collection. I also glue them on real pumpkins if necessary. Sometimes the heirloom varieties I see have nubs for stems. A pumpkin’s not the same without a great stem!
