I have had such a crush on succulents for a few years now. They are not only adorable but almost kill proof. And I love using succulents in decor here at StoneGable! There is something so sweet and kitschy and cool all at the same time about them. Today is “all things succulent”. Let’s get started!

HOW TO PLANT SUCCULENTS BEAUTIFULLY
Succulents are one of those rare plants that look even better in an unusual container. An old coffee pot, a white soup tureen, and even an old splatterware colander! And they are even more attention grabbing in a group!
SUCCULENTS… CARE OF A TRENDY PLANT
Although succulents are very hardy they are a bit fragile because their leaves are full of water. With just a little know how you can grow and care for succulents for years!
If you want a WOW factor fall decor, this is it! Really! Once I had all my supplies together this fabulous fall decoration took about 10 minutes to pull together.
And when fall was over I repotted the succulents and decorated with them!
MINI SUCCULENT TOPPED PUMPKINS
If a big pumpkin is a little too much for you how about making mini pumpkin topped pumpkins? And my little pumpkins lasted all fall. I’ll show you how to make them!
If you don’t have succulents growing in your home you really should. Go out and get a few this weekend and add them to the decor in your home!

The succulents do look good in the white pumpkins but I really have a hard time liking most of them. Very boring to me. I will take flowering plants and greenery any day! Just a preference.
Nothing boring about beauty in any way, shape or manner. I love the white with the succulents. They show strength, beauty and power. Just my opinion.
I just read your post on your blue and white guest room. Where do you get your rattan shades? The link did not go there; it went to the curtains instead.
I find that I have more success with succulents when I leave them outside!
Hi Linda, I found these rattan shades at Lowes. They are the cut can go type. Hope this helps.
I am trying to find a particular air fern. All I have found are the cacti air ferns. The one I am looking for is a bright green & looks like the asparagus fern. Do you know where I can get them?
