MENU PLAN FOR NOVEMBER 1ST

FALL TABLE SETTING WITH A PUPKIN

Do you love fall flavors? I do too! Right now I am reveling in pumpkin and squash and sage. I love apples and pears and pumpkin spice anything! Life is good when there are so many scrumptious flavors and 30 delicious recipes on the menu this week!

I hope you will make some of these recipes so you can enjoy fall’s best flavors too!

Now, here’s what’s on the menu plan for Nov 1st…

MONDAY

Mondays are such busy days here at StoneGable and the Tanglewood House just like most work weeks! So dinner is usually easy! I have cooked rice in the frig so I’m turning it into my favorite Nani’s Sauteed Rice and the chicken recipe for today is easy and looks divine!!!!!

I’ll dredge the chicken in flour and use half and half instead of heavy cream for the sauce. I can’t wait to make this new-to-me recipe!

A delicious recipe from Natasha at Salt and Lavander!

TUESDAY

If you have the time, a roast is a really easy weeknight dinner! And the bonus of a roast is leftovers! I’ll freeze the leftovers and use them for a dinner next week.

I love a roast, Oh YUM! Thanks, Amanda at The Kitcheneer!

WEDNESDAY

Thanks, Lauren at Lauren’s Lastest for this gorgeous fish dish!

THURSDAY- SOUP DAY

My Nani made the best soup! And she taught me. Whenever I make the soups she did I feel so close to her. I loved her so much!

This soup is one recipe you want to try this week! Making your own stock is so easy it just takes a bit of time.

BOWL OF SOUP

FRIDAY

Friday nights are stay-in nights for Bobby and me! We eat a fun, easy dinner and watch a movie or play Scrabble or Bananagrams. Once in a while, we will play Gin Rummy the game Bobby taught me when we first dated.

The fun thing about playing games with Bobby is we know each other so so well we can usually predict the other’s next move! It makes for very interesting and intriguing games!

What a fun recipe from London at The Evolving Table!

SATURDAY

There is only one food Bobby does not like. Liver! I actually love liver. I am a huge pate fan! So no liver here at StoneGable!

And there is one thing Bobby is not fond of. Black Olives! I can put them in a dish and he will eat them.

But one of Bobby’s favorite things in this world is mushrooms! This dinner will be a winner! Bobby, this is for you!

Thanks, Megan Seelinger!

SUNDAY- SUNDAY DINNER

We love to gather the family together on Sundays after church and have a family dinner! Because these meatballs are make-ahead they are so easy! And they are a huge family favorite!

SWEET TREAT OF THE WEEK

Here’s a wonderful, delicous fall cake for you I made by doctoring a cake mix box! It has gone viral on Pinterest and no wonder. It is awesome!

  1. Spring in this part of the world but I am going to make your salads this week and of course the viniagrette! I will also be cooking the garlic and herbed fish. If the weather turns a bit chilly the creamy bacon chicken will be used.

You always come up with some delightful recipes so keep up the good work!

  2. Lisa Gabriel says:

I’m searching for your recipe where you bake a stew/soup/casserole in a pumpkin and you scoop out some cooked pumpkin with each serving.

    1. Hi Lisa, this recipe was hacked and ruined. I’m so sorry I don’t have it anymore.
