Ready for 33 yummy recipes this week?

MONDAY- HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY

Bobby and I don’t go out on Valentine’s Day. Restaurants are notorious for using this day as a big moneymaker. It’s all about getting diners in and out! And those prix fix menus drive me crazy! So tonight Bobby and I will stay home and have a romantic bowl of soup together.

It’s really all about being together no matter where we are!

My new favorite soup is Spinach Tortellini Soup! It is so delicious and so easy to make. What a winning combination.

This soup is so hearty and filling! If you make one thing this week, give this soup a try.

I think this soup tastes best with a big slice of bread slathered with butter. I’m making the easiest bread ever! Butter Topped Beer Bread is another super easy recipe with lots of yummy flavors!

SOUP

TUESDAY

As a little girl, I lived across the pond and really good fish and chips became a way of life. Nowadays I don’t enjoy this old favorite as often as I did but once in a while, fish and chips bring back all those wonderful memories of being a girl living in Scotland and England.

This beautiful recipe is from Lovefoodies.

WEDNESDAY- COMPANY’S COMING

A ribeye steak is hands down the best steak you can eat. And I’m not sure why people think it is so hard to make. Steak done right is not only easy but so so sexy!!!!

Thanks, Kitchen Swagger! This ribeye looks so delicious!

THURSDAY

I’m sorta into “bowls”. A fun way to eat everything together. I adore Maple Soy sauce on salmon!

Isn’t this bowl beautiful? ‘I can’t wait to make Asian Salmon Spinach Rice Bowls from For The Love Of Basil.

I’m making easy pot stickers for the first time. I can’t wait to give them a try. And truth be told, I’ll probably eat a lot more pot stickers than the salmon in the bowl. YUM!

FRIDAY

Don’t these taquitos look scrumptious? And they are a Weight Watcher recipe! This is a meal I can’t wait to make! I love Tex-Mex food and saving a few calories is smart!

This beautiful recipe comes from Recipe Diaries.

SATURDAY

The flavor profile of this salad is in my wheelhouse. What a great healthy dinner! I’ll be adding anchovies.

Thanks, Sara at Dinner At The Zoo.

SUNDAY- FAMILY GET TOGETHER

Parmesan crusted chicken should be in everyone’s recipe box. It is so easy to make and goes with so much!!!!! And did I mention it is so tasty?

This perfect for family friendly chicken is from What’s In The Pan.

No dinner tonight just lots of great nibbles! We are having a family get together! I know there will be lots of games and cards and fun!

TREAT OF THE WEEK

Since we are celebrating Valentine’s Day I’m making delicious and so so cute Berry Valentine Hand Pies!

  1. The antipasto salad looks fabulous. I keep what I call my “salad bar fixings” in m pantry and frig at all times. It makes putting a salad together quickly – either for a great lunch or dinner. I usually buy everything at Trader Joe’s. I always buy multiple jars of fire roasted red peppers, marinated artichokes, anchovies, olives of all kinds for my pantry. Then I have a great variety of cheeses – swiss, provolone, blue, mozzarella, as well as different salamis, prosciutto, etc. I make my own croutons from leftover bread. I never buy bottle salad dressing, but I have different olive oils, avocado oils, vinegars, fresh lemons, etc., to make my own salad dressings. I never buy the prebagged greens, instead I buy organic romaine, baby greens, etc. If you trim and wash the romaine and wrap it in paper towels and put in zip lock bags the letter lasts for about 2 weeks.

    1. Wow, such a great tip, Lyn! Thanks! I’m sure anyone who reads your comment will be running out to stock up their frig and pantry with “salad bar fixings”.

    2. I make the cherry heart shape pies for my 2 grandsons every year for their Valentine’s treat.. and they certainly disappear fast… doesn’t make it to dessert .. lol.. warms my ❤
